The Long Barn
The Long Barn is a handsome modern (2011) building with light, uncluttered rooms, a sun-trap terrace, and stunning views across the valley.
The Long Barn is the main ‘home base’ for most small to medium-sized groups.
Sitting room: upholstered chairs and big sofas seating 15 – 25 as standard, up to 35 with additional chairs. Adjacent kitchenette with serving hatch for serving drinks and snacks.
Dining room: folding tables and stacking chairs. Eating, meeting or workshop space 15 – 25 as standard. up to 35 if you need to. Adjacent main kitchen with serving hatch.
The two rooms are linked (or separated) by a small conservatory.
Five ground floor toilets, one is wheelchair accessible.
Main kitchen: fully equipped to cater for 30 people. 2 electric ovens, 8 boiling plates, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher.
Bedrooms: 8 twin and 1 single bedroom. 4 rooms have balconies. Each room has bedside cabinet, table and chair, armchair, hanging space and en-suite wet room shower. Beds are 3′ wide and all twin rooms can be made up as doubles. Two of the rooms can have one extra floor mattress added.
